MetaScope screen snapshot
Escher Zoom is another screensaver that uses some Escher images. It uses an interesting 'mosaic zoom' effect in which one picture appears to be made of little copies of another picture. Here's a fun optical illusion: look at EscherZoom for about 30 seconds, and then look at a picture on your wall. It'll look like it's swelling!
Cloud Kaleido uses a continuous zoom effect similar to the one employed in Escher Zoom, but in this case it is used to create the sensation of flying through clouds. It is a slow-moving, amorphous and beautiful animated mandala. You can turn the mirror-effect off on this screensaver to see the cloud movement by itself.
